Are You Feeling It?

I need to be honest, I don’t particularly like this time of year. The weather gets cold, the end of year hustle is real, and so many people are struggling to just make it through.

It’s the holidays.

It’s so much more than that. Living is not always easy. We struggle through the darkness to find the light, oh that light. We do this because living is truly a grand thing. Why though, why at times, do we feel as thought living isn’t worth it. The darkness, the pain.

Some would say it’s this ebb and flow thing. I say “fuck that”. I truly don’t believe that anyone who says it’s “ebb and flow” knows the darkness. If they did, there would be an understanding that it’s not so easy.

Anyway. The holidays seem to bring out a stronger set of emotions in all directions. For some, it’s an ecstatic joy. For others, it’s pulling through each day just to get to the next. Looking not to Christmas Day, but instead January 2nd.

All I’m truly saying here, in way too many words, is to be kind. Right now, your kindness might just save someones life…..
