Be You – Always –

Authentic – That’s the word right? Being authentically you is undoubtedly less work than faking it. Fake it till you make it really isn’t fooling anyone.

Being honest with yourself is less work than anything else. Not having to live up to everyone else’s standards is less work than anything else.

When you are working to live up to expectations, it’s tough to maintain, expensive, and really, what does it offer you?

Take this moment, take a deep breath. Feel that rush of oxygen into your lungs, into your body, into your soul. That feeling is you. All of you. Now try to feel how good that feels, to be at peace with that moment and all that you are. Not feeling the need to keep up with Frank or Betty. (who the heck is Frank and Betty anyway?). Feel how empowering it feels to simply be at peace with all you love and care about?

Love is the way, agapé is the way, an unconditional love of sorts. – Agape love is love at the highest level. It’s so much more than we could ever dream or imagine. –

Your purpose here isn’t to impress anyone, it’s not to get everyone to like you. Your purpose here is to experience the world around you. To create moments that become your stories that become your memories. And to do those things as authentically as you can. To do them in a way that fills your heart and your soul, be that quietly or be that skipping down the street.

To do it your way.

Let go of the worries, of the burdens, that revolve around what others may or may not think. Create your value, be the best you that you can be. And along the way, make a difference where you can. Help a fellow individual or living creature. Give your love, give your hand, not in a way to get something in return but instead to lift others up and make the world a better place.

As one person your reach may only go so far. Maybe it’s within your state, your town, or simply the block you live on. Just know that every step you take at being authentically you, every step you take with your gorgeous light shining from within, is a step toward a brighter life and a brighter world.
